Affordable Housing In Olympic Park
Only half of the 1471 new homes planned for the area last year were completed. However, the housing committee questioned why housing targets last year had “failed” to be met, especially on affordable/social homes. However, NO action has been taken.
'Disgusting that all monies paid for Olympic Park and all the units made for the Olympians to live in - was supposedly meant to be for homeless and for ordinary people who could actually afford them after the games - Look at the prices they are being sold for!' - (Elaine Bines)
'Olympic Park affordable housing could be less than a third of promised 50 per cent target'.
'What's happened to 'affordable' housing on London's Olympic park?'
