Prohibit the wearing of face coverings in public spaces
It’s a matter of safety, for example if someone is walking into a bank it is expected they are not covering there face, clearly for security and practicality reasons. The same for petrol stations and airports. So this petition will be based upon the bill Face coverings (prohibition) bill.
The original bill was designed to “prohibit the wearing of certain face coverings, and seeks to make it illegal for people to cover there faces in public spaces”. The ban must include the wearing of face covering headgear, including masks, helmets, baraclavas, niqãbs and other veils covering the face. The ban must be in place for all public spaces and include for security reasons banks and petrol stations etc.
