Allow fathers in employment to have time off for scans and parenting classes

Petition Details

First time dad. Gov.co.uk states maximum two appointments for scans etc. Employers shouldn’t be allowed to force dads to use their holidays for scan appointments. As fathers we should be allowed every appointment off work.

Additional Information

My partner and I have to go to various hospitals for scans to ensure everything is right. I must use my holiday hours. I can take time off for a doctors or hospital appointment, because it's for me but I can’t have time off for scans because it's not directly for me! Slight discrimination!”
