Petition Details

Letting the UK vote on what countries it wants entering the UK as migrants or refugees, for example the top 10 voted counties would be granted access into the UK as refugee status and every 5 years there would be another vote to decide which 5 countries would be granted access.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask the UK Government to withdraw from all agreements that require the UK to accept immigrants and refugees, if that's what you'd like to happen.
