Additional Information

That an amendment is made to the Road Trafic Act 2004 so that all Residents Parking Schemes supply the first parking permit for a household free without charge of any kind. Permits for subsequent vehicles should not be charged over £30. Visitors passes should also not be free for the first 50 and subsequent not charged more than the local day rate for parking. Those 60 or over should not have to pay for any visitors passes to enable family visits and visits for carers and medical staff and those requiring daily carer visits.
