Exclude the historic environment from the new National Planning Policy Framework
The NPPF will put our historic environment in jeopardy. Already we see Councillors and others in government employment, not seeking the specialist advice they need to meet their historic environment obligations.
The NPPF fails to protect the integrity of historical and cultural sites. Planners lack the wisdom to appreciate them. These problems are far-reaching and threaten the destruction of our historic environment as well as the squandering of tax payers’ money. Heritage England, the Archaeological Society and many others, when they are needed; they are toothless. Government organisations which are constrained by government policies and limited finances are powerless.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the protection of the historic environment, but we're not sure what you mean by "Exclude the historic environment from the new National Planning Policy Framework".
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
