apply mandatory detainment sentences of youths convicted of serious offences.
the justice system is currently failing the public in dealing with youths commiting serious offences including theft ,assault, criminal damage youths are escaping punishment leading to a huge rise in serious crime offenders are walking away unpunished
a recent rise in violent crime has been noted following a highlighting of school exclusions rapidly increasing around 2015 , youths were being placed under one roof breeding gangs this has now levelled up more recently with services such as youth offending and police lacking the time and resources to deal with these offenders effectively, and upon intervention are feeling the pressure when the justice system is allowing them to walk freely and carry on with their criminal activity unpunished.
