Amend MP's pension scheme
MP's enjoy a substantial pension based on 20 years of service. They contribute 11% of salary and receive 50% of approximately £65,000 as their pension. Government should increase contributions and increase the qualifying period. Many public servants are being asked to contribute substantially more, over a longer period for substantially less. MP's are apparently reluctant to amend their own scheme.
