Impose aprropriate sanctions on those who fail to fulfill their duties.
It is insulting to watch those who represent their constituency and our country as a whole, sleep through parliamentary debates. During one of the most important periods in our countries history and while we are under close and televised scrutiny, this is allowed to continue.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do, or what you mean by "those who fail to fulfill their duties."
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for the rules of the House of Commons to be changed, to introduce a penalty for MPs found to be sleeping in the House of Commons Chamber, if that's what you would like to happen.
