This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

The police don't decide on sentences for people convicted of crimes, so we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to see.

You may wish to sign this petition instead:

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/226356

Otherwise, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
