Petition Action

Enable green travel by legalising public use of personal electronic transport

Petition Details

In an era of mobility scooters on paths & an aim to reduce fuel consumption, the UK should accept the future of solo transport & legalise public use of low speed electronic transport. Including but not limited to electronic skates, boards & scooters with a view to allow on bike lanes, paths or both.

Additional Information

Stop the traffic jams! In an era when mobility scooters can ride on roads and pavements and we are striving to become independent of oil and "be more green", the UK should move with the future of solo transport and legalise the public use of low limited speed electronic transport devices. These include but are not limited to: electronic skates (c7mph), skateboards (c10mph), scooters and segways, with a view to allow use in either bike lanes or on pavements or both. Keep our country moving!
