Council must serve notice of any consultation directly on all residents by post
During the recent proposed introduction of Selective Licensing, the Council failed to provide proper notice of proposals or consultation to all residents affected by the introduction of such a policy. We believe that there should always be a transparent and independent consultation undertaken.
Luton Borough Council has failed in it's duty to provide proper notice of proposals and consultations that would introduce new legislation affecting the residents of Luton. The Council have either failed to provide proper and accurate information to residents or failed to ensure the ease of access to such information on all proposed consultations.
