Petition Action

When a baby is born before 24 weeks, allow to parents to register birth

Petition Details

In the UK a baby has to be born after 24 weeks for parents to be able to register the birth and death. Before this it is classed as a late miscarriage and you have no maternity rights and like it never happened.

Additional Information

You still have to give birth and it takes a lifetime to get over. You need the same rights to maternity leave to take time to grieve and register that your pregnancy existed.
