Provide free school uniform
Uniform is expensive and parents shouldn’t waste their money on something that their child is forced to wear considering school is compulsory.
My mother has spent hundreds on school uniform which could have been spent on more important things.
The average amount a parent spends on uniform per child in a secondary school is £316 (https://www.teachingtimes.com/news/school-uniform-costs.htm)

It's up to schools to choose whether to have a uniform. If you're concerned about the cost of uniform at your own school, you could raise this with the school's senior management or governing body.
