Football should be made FREE to air again.
I believe that due to the lack of sporting awareness within this country, younger people are loosing a majority of potential ROLE MODELS for them to aspire to.
This I believe is partly due to large organisations buying the exclusive rights to sporting events, these are then priced out of many peoples range, so they never get to see these sporting icons, thus many young people are loosing their awareness of what can be achieved. Note, in Australia most sport in FREE to air, and they seem to be doing quite well in most sports.
1). The Government should find a way to stop big companies buying up exclusive rights to major sporting events.
2). ALL events involving the nation should be FREE to air, without exception.
