Place a reasonable and affordable cap on all holiday prices during peak seasons
Prices for holidays during peak times are unfair and unacceptably high. Parents face fines for taking children out of school for holidays. Who can blame them? Prices for the same holiday a week earlier can differ by thousands! People working in education have absolutely no choice in what they pay.
Thinking beyond simply having a nice holiday abroad:
British Values is something we are forced to teach in schools but if a child does not have the opportunity to travel the world, they will never develop an appreciation of what actually makes us British. More importantly, they never be able to fully understand the wealth of cultural differences around the world and develop the level of tolerance we desperately need in our country.
