All English Local Authorities to notify residents by post of new Consultations
When introducing any legislation affecting residents, The Local Authority/Council must serve notice of any consultation or proposal directly on ALL residents, in additional languages if required, by way of postal service. Local Authorities across England are failing to comply with this requirement
A specific example of this is the introduction of Selective Licensing in Luton, ALL residents in the affected areas have not been informed of the Consultation. The outcome of this consultation will affect all residents of Luton. We are asking for people across England to support this if they have had a similar experience with their Local Authority failing to consult with them on important changes affecting their town/city.
