Petition Action

Make replying to petitions with a copy and paste reply from DExEU an offence.

Petition Details

Petitions with particular concerns over Brexit are answered with the same insulting, meaningless copy-and-paste reply, often not addressing at all the subject or concerns of the petitioners.

Additional Information

A suitable prison sentence of fine for the perpetrators of such cavalier treatment of UK citizens by government ministers or civil servants would be quite justified.

If the petition.parliament.uk system is continuously abused in this way it renders the whole scheme pointless and UK citizens voiceless.
