Petition Action

verble contract agreed over the phone should not be binding by default

Additional Information

I would like to see any verble contract entered into over the phone, no matter which party makes the initial contact, not come into effect untill a signed paper copy of said contract is retuned to the originator.
The present situation that a verble contract is legitimised by the failer of a person to respond to an email within 14 day is leaving people open to preditoy and imoral companies.
I have fallen foul of this situation and I am sure others have too.
