Stop development on Bearwood's Green Belt

Petition Details

Proposed development of 800 'affordable homes' on the Green Belt off Magna Road, Bearwood. No plans for a new GP surgery, school or improvement to road structure. The Green Belt title will be revoked. Facilities in Bearwood are already stretched & the Magna Road is already so busy!

Additional Information

Poole Council will be trying to revoke the Green Belt status of the open spaces off Magna Road, Bearwood in November 2018 to build 800 new homes.
Plans to build 800 new family homes with 320 'affordable homes' & a 60 bed care home. The new large scale development will be directly behind the existing homes on Magna Road.
Bearwood already struggles with an overcrowded primary school and a GP surgery with over filled books.
Magna Road is already too busy! No plans to improve it.
