Petition Action

Use ID for social media to protect children and Ban paedophiles

Petition Details

I have been saddened by the amount of paedophiles being caught grooming on social media. I have an idea.
When registering for a social media site I think you should have to put in some sort identification. For example, passport number, NI number, driving license number. So on.

Additional Information

also believe that when these people are caught they should then have a social media ban as they have put in those details they cannot set up multiple accounts.
Therefore keeping our Children safe. Our children won’t be able to access social media until they get the ID required as at the moment it’s a check box for age so any child with intelligence can join social media
