Make it a Criminal offence for a neighbour to trespass on your property.
Did you know if your neighbour accesses your property without your knowledge or consent it is a Civil Law matter not Criminal which basically means they can get away with it unless you take civil action at great cost. Yet if they injure themselves whilst on your property you can be prosecuted?
Every time I leave my house to go on holiday my neighbour seizes the opportunity to access my flat roof in order to prune his rose bush or other unnecessary reasons. He never asks permission and I am unaware of his presence on my roof until I get back and look at the security camera footage. What's the problem? Single ply membrane roofs are NOT designed to be regularly walked on. It causes damage that cannot be seen until we get a leak that we have to then repair. Costing money and inconvenience
