This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The issue you raise is the responsibility of the European Union, not the UK Government or Parliament. You could start a new petition about this issue with the European Parliament, which has its own petitions system:

If you want the UK Government and Parliament to repeal the EU Copyright Directive, when the UK leaves the EU, you may wish to sign this petition instead: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/228620
