Require House of Fraser to provide a full refund to its customers for all orders
House of Fraser customers have been told that they will get no refunds for goods ordered online but undelivered before the chain was bought out in August 2018.
Customers must contact the administrators however as unsecured creditors there will be little chance of getting any money back.
On 17 August 2018 House of Fraser tweeted: "Due to delays with delivering online orders, we have taken the decision to cancel and refund all orders that have not already been sent to customers. All customers affected will receive an email in the next couple of days. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused."
The new owners have therefore taken a U-turn despite initial promises to process refunds.
