More protection for debit card users!
If you pay by your debit card you aren’t protected by fraud or a scam. Why isn’t there a national database that stores can flag up scam websites and the banks can cancel a transaction from this database so that less of us are affected!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you'd like a database of fraudulent sites and scams or specific protections for debit card users.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition asking the UK Parliament and Government to work with the police and the financial sector to create a national financial scam database, if that's something you'd like to happen.
