Give the responsibility of age rating games to the bbfc
PEGI is too strict which stops kids from playing fairly mildly violent games since they have high ratings such as 16. It is vastly different from the BBFC as films such as Spider-man have a 12 while the game has a 16. This stops kids from playing the games they love which is generally appropriate.
Spider-man:
PEGI : 16
BBFC: 12
Iron man:
PEGI : 16
BBFC : 12

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you'd like to change how games are rated to make it easier for young people to access games or whether you'd simply like the organisation that rates the games to change.
We understand that you'd like video games to have the same ratings as the films on which they're based, but the content of video games is the responsibility of games manufacturers, not the UK Parliament and Government.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
