Petition Action

False information given to CMS from Receiving Parent should be Investigated.

Petition Details

Evidence provided to CMS by Paying Parent to dispute false information provided by Receiving Parent, in order to claim more funds.

CMS rejecting evidence provided by Receiving Parent and approving the lower band/ higher paid rate.

Additional Information

Evidence has been provided by Paying parent to CMS for having their children (I.e) proof of photos inc dates/ messages/ calendar etc and although information has been given by receiving parent, the information provided is false it and is granted.

CMS rejects dispute and receiving parents claim is granted under false information.

This is proving to be unfair and a system which is robbing the paying parents due to incorrect information given and accepted.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about how child maintenance is calculated, but we're not sure exactly what changes you'd like to see.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

You can find out how to challenge a decision made by the CMS here:
