Members of public should be entitled to financial compensation from unions.
There is nothing more inconvenient than strike action, especially on public transport.
If you are delayed or inconvenienced you should be entitled to reclaim compensation from the union causing the strike.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
This petition seems to be asking for unions to act, not the UK Government. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. We could accept a petition that asked for unions to be required to pay compensation for all losses incurred as a result of strike action, if that's something that you'd like to happen.
