Set up a single tribunal service for all public services complaints/ grievances.

Petition Details

Call on the government to create a fair free tribunal body and procedure to hear complaints/grievances/appeals relating to failure, mistakes or misuse of power by those in all public services who conceal their wrongdoing.

Additional Information

The impact to people affected is simply being normalised and accepted as the way things are.

The public must have a right to a fair tribunal service & charter which allows their concerns to be heard when they have suffered failure/mistakes & gives the tribunal more powers to compel witnesses/public officers to testify. The public’s rights matter & they must be entitled to free access to justice & due process in disputes before an impartial judge as those in public office can use public money to conceal failure/mistakes & those affected have no voice & most cannot access legal assistance.
