Raise the number of petition signatures required to 27182 & 314159 respectively.
To reduce the volume of frivolous submissions. E.g. consider the current petition to “Make TV election debates happen”, which is struggling to reach 10,000 votes, despite Sky News persistently making it the lead story on their own bulletins, and otherwise covering it 24x7 for the last fortnight.
