Put children and young people at the heart of government spending
There is compelling evidence that the services and support that children rely on are at breaking point. Despite this, children and young people are being ignored in the government’s spending plans. The government must act swiftly to put children at the heart of its spending decisions.
As a parent, I’ve seen first hand how children and young people are affected by inadequate funding of vital services and support. I am not alone. Organisations who work with children and young people of all ages are also calling for urgent action by the government. The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about children and young people, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
