Petition Details

It is discrimination against women to have to pay a luxury tax on a necessity, as men do not have to pay for any necessities. Many young girls miss out on their education because they're unable to afford sanitary items to wear.

Our goal is to get rid of the 5% luxury tax that women have to pay on sanitary products as people can't afford it.
