Create a global tax on plastic
I think there we need to create a global tax on plastic, from the producers, consumers and manufacturers of the products! The tax collected will pay for the removal of all plastic from the oceans, plus tackle the issue with landfill as well and look for a more sustainable solution.

The UK Government and Parliament are only responsible for taxes in the UK.
You could start a new petition asking the UK Government to urge other countries to adopt such a tax if that is something you would like to happen.
