Further controls on the sale of fireworks.
We currently have children throwing fireworks at each other on the streets. It’s a danger to themselves and innocent people in the street.
Also it causes a lot of distress to the animals. The sale of fireworks is not necessary when we displays run by the councils

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not exactly sure what you what the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure what you mean by "further controls".
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
If you want to ban the use of fireworks unless as part of a controlled and/ or organised event, you may wish to sign this petition instead: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/223542
