Elected EU Commissioners

Additional Information

With leaders of the EU meeting in December to discuss treaty reform we would ask the government to allow member countries to elect commissioners.
This would make the EU far more democratic and transparent as commissioners would have to respect the views of the electorate. This would also solve the problem of the EU's democratic deficit is also a far more democratic way of deciding on the future role of the EU.
