Petition opposing compulsory wearing of bicycle helmets.

Additional Information

There is no evidence that bicycle helmets have any appreciable benefit to cyclists involved in road collisions.
To make their wearing compulsory could discourage people from taking up cycling and has been associated with an increased risk of injury.
