Make all school holidays (primary and secondary) across the UK, the same.

Petition Details

To make the lives of all parents and carers logistically easier and for families to all be able to enjoy school holidays TOGETHER... we need to standardise school holidays so that all UK schools take their holidays at the same time.

Additional Information

It is not uncommon for parents to have both a primary aged child and a secondary aged child - who’s schools have their half term holidays on different weeks.

Furthermore, teachers who have children of their own, often find themselves receiving a half term holiday at a different time to their own children - who may be at school in a neighbouring town or city for example.
