Allow the youth to have a vote on all elections!
The adults get a vote in elections -- but the youth are left out. The youth are OUR next generation, and they should be able to vote! The Government should be able to set up polling stations at local schools in a designated area where the youth have a percentage of a vote and is sent to real electio
Youth should be able to vote. They are our next generation. I believe this should be able to years 12-16; and they should be given leaflets to be informed of all candidates, what they aim to do etc.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions have to call on the UK Government and Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you would like young people to vote in all elections, but are not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government or Parliament to change the law to allow 12 to 16 year olds to vote in all elections if that is something you would like to see happen.
