Introduce mandatory environmental labels on food products
We are on the edge of a environmental crisis with current trends in food consumption and current farming practices unsustainable. The simple Introduction of environmental food labelling would both empower consumers to make a positive change and also promote a culture of more conscious producers.
Huge reductions in meat-eating are essential to avoid dangerous climate change https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-018-0594-0
Proof of the power of labelling can be seen in that of household appliances where the energy efficiency, as increased three times faster than appliances without labels.
