Hoo Peninsula needs a 2nd main road route infrastructure.
The current road infrastructure on the Hoo Peninsula in Kent is unable to cope with the current traffic demands and there are new housing estates in construction and others that will start in the near future, a 2nd road infrastructure is required to cope with all this traffic.
A road accident in or around the peninsula causes chaos for all road users including the emergency services who struggle to get through due to the current infrastructure and no viable alternative.
The only other route is via narrow country lanes, which soon get jammed with HGV's trying to use them.
A 2nd route will also lead to improved air quality due to traffic load balancing, and will help the local economy thrive.
Medway council need to construct additional road infrastructure now.
