To charge time wasters of Ambulance Service a fixed fee for misuse of the NHS.
Emergency ambulances are attending people who misuse the NHS wasting valuable time and stopping those that really require emergency treatment. Those that abuse the system should be fined by Ambulance crews for wasting time, Using up limited resources and potentially risking Someone's life .
Recently reported by the Daily mail and by various Ambulance service trusts there has been an increase of attendances to A+E via ambulances who do not need to be there . This is impacting the services response times and causing them to be fined millions. This reduces new staff employed, Newer vehicles and a increase of paramedics leaving the profession due to increasing pressures by those that abuse the system. Implementing a charge will act as a deterrent to ward of those that abuse the NHS.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take specific action.
It is already possible for people who falsely call 999 to be prosecuted, potentially leading to a fine.
We are therefore not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. You could start a new petition calling for it to be possible to issue fixed penalty notices for false 999 calls if that's something you would like to see happen. However, it is only possible for the police to issue such notices.
