Now is the time to make that step and cancel our commitments to an arms trade with Saudi Arabia.

The UK is fueling the deadly conflict in Yemen through reckless arms sales to the Saudi Arabia-led coalition. (Amnesty Int.)

Saudi Arabia, which has dismissed as "lies" claims by Turkish officials that Mr Khashoggi was murdered by Saudi agents, has vowed to respond to any punitive action by Western powers "with greater action".
Saudi Arabia possess about 18% of the world's proven oil reserves and is the world's biggest oil exporter, according to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec). (BBC) Surely it is time for us to look closely at alternatives to fossil fuels and separate any dependency with such regimes. Now is the time to send that message loud and strong!
