Send all foreign national prisoners back to their own country
If you want to save nearly half a billion pound per year sign the petition.
There are about 10,000 foreign national prisoners in England and Wales's prisons costing about £400,000,000 – £500,000,000 each year. To save this amount, and to free much-needed spaces, sign this petition to send all foreign national prisoners back to their own countries by 29 March 2019.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Foreign national offenders are already subject to deportation under the UK Borders Act 2007. So we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could call for a change to that law if it is something you would like to see happen.
