Adjust child benefit so that the payments are higher for young children.

Petition Details

I believe young children are harder to support than older children and receive very little help. Currently child benefit is the same through a child's life. I believe child benefit should be larger when the child is under 4 and then decrease as they get to 5 and when they become a teenager.

When a child is over 3 years old parents get support with child care costs.
