Make basic First Aid and CPR part of the national curriculum.
All children should have a basic knowledge of how to deal with emergencies and to not be frightened of intervening to help. There are many instances where children have helped save a parent at home simply by knowing the basics.
If one person is saved by this it will have been worth it.
