Petition Action

No taking away citizens rights unless a large majority of the electorate agree

Petition Details

At the moment the government can take away citizens rights when they feel like it.
Citizens shouldn't be able to lose any rights unless a large majority of the electorate has agreed to giving them up.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
