To clearly label what constitutes flavourings and spices on all food packaging.
Those with allergies need to know what constitues 'flavourings' and 'spices' on all food packaging. Having an allergy to treenuts and nutmeg, just labelling food to have flavourings or spices is too vague. Food packaging must be clearly labelled so allergy sufferers know exactly what they are eating
The time has come for all food manufacturers to explicitly state what exactly their ingredients constitutes, rather than just listing 'flavourings' and 'spices.' Having an allergy to treenuts and nutmeg means I have to avoid many food products due to vague ingredients. All allergy sufferers have the right to know exactly what they are eating and should have more choice in the food market. This can be done by food manufacturers clearly stating what these 'flavourings' and 'spices' constitues.
