Every student in Britain should receive an hour of political education weekly
Many people believe that the voting age should be lowered to 16 however many 16 year olds are not interested or not educated in politics and would only fuel the voter crisis. The weekly lesson could be used to teach students a simplified version of the A level Government and Politics course.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you would like to see young people required to take an hour of political education a week, however we aren't sure who this would apply to or how it would be implemented. For example, we don't know if you just mean A-level students or those taking other types of qualifications.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly what you would like to see happen.
