Ease the employment restrictions on asylum seekers.
Asylum seekers are restricted to jobs on the National Shortage Occupation List [SOL]; the reason behind their unemployed. The support they receive is inadequate for daily life [£5.39/day]; forcing them to live in poverty; relaxing the terms will make lives less vulnerable for those already in agony.
People seeking sanctuary in the UK could contribute £42m/year; if the work restrictions were non-existent. Millions are being spent to support destitute asylum seekers each year; this capital is possible to retain & make better use of.
