Contributors &pensioners to partly govern NationalInsuranceFund not The Treasury
"To give the National Insurance Fund the protection it deserves there should be a separate and largely autonomous financial institution, with a governing National Insurance Commission to fix rates and to propose structural changes.".-Catalyst Forum 2003 via Tony Lyons and David Hencke
An arrangement along these lines, firmly taking control of the National Insurance Fund is essential to command public ongoing support.
The system since 1999 whereby any govt currently in power, on a whim, moves the eligibility goalposts, has been disastrous and must cease.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want changes to how the National Insurance Fund operates but we aren't sure what changes you would like to see.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly who would oversee the Fund and how it would operate.
